If You Give a Tack Ho a Deal

I have been super casually looking for a Thorowgood dressage saddle*. The problem with being 'casually ISO' is that eventually, you find it. Probably for an amazing deal. When you are a Tack Ho predator the thrill of a kill is surpassed only by the thrill of that kill also being a deal.

*I am still totally enamored with my County jump saddle, it fits both of us amazing. A custom Epiphany in brown with patent accents and forward flap is in the cards one day... when I hit the lottery or something.

The problem is, when you give a Tack Ho a cookie deal...

...then you have to give her milk stirrup leathers, because all her stirrup leathers are brown...

... and if you give her a new leathers, you have to give her a girth because all her girths are brown too...
...but if you've bought her a girth you need to get her a new half pad too because her old half pad is brown and doesn't match either...

... and if you buy a new half pad you'll probably have to throw in a new bonnet to hit some kind of shipping/coupon limit, plus it matches your show coat...

... once you've bought the bonnet you're probably going to have to get her the matching pad...

... but then she'll realize she has the matching leathers, and the girth, and the half pad, and the bonnet, and the regular pad, and all her bridles are brown...

... so she'll have to look for another deal to get a bridle too.

The moral of the story is... never give a Tack Ho a deal.

  9. I'm a tack ho with champagne taste on a beer budget...! You totally need all that stuff so we can live vicariously through you! And I feel like you need a stock tie with a purple edge? Maybe if the black on black is too much? Or get both so you have some choices.
